Ingredients
- 16 oz. softened cream cheese
- 16 oz. whipped topping or whipped cream
- 1 prepared angel food cake torn into 1″-2″ pieces
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2-3 lbs fresh strawberries
Directions
- Hull and slice strawberries. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sugar and gently toss to coat. Let sit for 10 minutes.
- Whip cream cheese until smooth and creamy. Fold in 8 oz. of whipped topping.
- Place a layer of cake pieces in the bottom of a large trifle dish, top cake with a layer of the cream cheese mixture and follow with a layer of strawberries. Repeat layering. Top final layer with remaining whipped topping. Garnish with sliced strawberries.
