Classic Pesto
3 cups fresh basil
2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/3 cup pine nuts
2 garlic cloves
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
salt & pepper to taste
• Add ingredients to a food processor or blender.
• Blend on low, stopping often to push down
the sides.
• Continue blending until smooth.
• Transfer to a small container.
Lasts 5-7 days in the refrigerator – Freezes up to 4 months
