You Will Need
- 16 inch x 20 inch picture frame
- 35 paint swatches (variety of colors)
- wrapping paper
- scotch tape
- scissors
- ruler
- dry-erase marker
Directions
Open the frame and take out the paper inside. Cut wrapping paper to fit the frame and use as a backdrop for your swatches.
Next, measure a piece of paint swatch and cut it into a 2–inch by 2.5–inch rectangle. Continue cutting until you have 35 paint swatches.
Lay out and affix the paint swatches to the board. Arrange them in 5 rows of 7 columns. Save scraps of rectangles to label the days of the week at the top of your calendar.
You can secure the swatches on your background paper by rolling a piece of scotch tape at the back of each paint swatch and stick them firmly to your background.
Once it’s secured, place it inside the frame.
Finally, take your dry-erase marker and label your calendar. The glass of the frame acts like a dry-erase board so you can customize your calendar and change it every month!
