Turkey and White Bean Chili

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 pounds ground turkey
- 1 cup red onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup poblano pepper, seeded and chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 19-ounce can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 14.5-ounce can diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 14-ounce can fat-free,
- less-sodium chicken broth
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 6 lime wedges
Instructions
- Heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add first four ingredients and cook until turkey is done (about 6 minutes). Stir frequently to crumble the turkey.
- Stir in chili powder, tomato paste, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, cannellini beans, diced tomatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in chopped cilantro. Serve with lime wedges.
